Gera "Layoffs for operational reasons as a possible consequence of the Corona crisis."
The Corona crisis has been affecting companies, particularly in the area of labor law, since mid-March. Reduction of working hours and home office have been a viable bridging method for many companies. However, a not only temporary decline in orders is currently emerging for many companies. The planned extension of reduced working hours is only a "crutch" that will help medium-sized companies in particular to a limited extent at best. Employers are therefore well advised to consider the possibility of terminations at an early stage. Well-prepared job cuts significantly reduce the risk of legal action against dismissal and high compensation payments.
Our LectureForum would like to give you an understanding of the aspects you need to consider when making a decision to terminate employee contracts, also by means of case studies.
